Program Notes:

Mirîn; means “death” in Kurdish.

Composer says that “events in this region took precedence over technical details and representational concerns in our work” and gives this title to his work without any epistemological or aesthetic concerns.

Mirîn is composed through designing a fictive structure by using conventional and extended techniques and not depending on any form; nevertheless the changes that are taking place through this fictive structure are consolidated and segregated through contrasts; and certain and ambiguous variations; thus presenting its starting point in its end. Its duration is 5 minutes.
